We’ve had feedback from a few customers with interesting uses for their CleverLoop cameras. This has really reinforced how it’s not just your home and your possessions that you can protect with with one of our systems, but perhaps more importantly, your family.

The examples we’ve had are where a Cleverloop security system has been used primarily as part of in-home care, to keep an eye on family members that shouldn’t leave their houses by themselves, rather than people trying to get in.

CleverLoop can be used to look after those who may wander away from a property.

A front page article by the Herald Sun on August 17th, 2017, reported that Victoria’s domestic burglary insurance payouts almost equalled NSW’s and Queensland’s combined. Household thefts or burglaries cost Victorians approximately $92million in a 12 month period, with Victoria’s burglary rate up by nearly 25%. That’s high when compared to Queensland’s 9% increase and NSW’s 2% rise.

Perth’s top 10 burglary hot-spots have long been know, but the rise in crime has seen big increases in break-ins.

Western Australia Police figures from January 2017 show that a house was burgled in WA every 16 minutes.
